ESTIMATES Menu: Micronet Estimating System

MJC has an optional Micronet Estimating System (MES) that can be purchased as an additional licence. MES has been developed to integrate with the Micronet Distribution System (MDS) and MJC.

Micronet Estimating System (MES) operates using the same resources as MJC, but does not consume or allocate stock. Simple estimates representing components of a larger estimate can be loaded one into another. If an estimate becomes a job, the original estimate can be “loaded” into the job and materials can be ordered from the quantities loaded.

Features of MES include:

• Integrates with MJC and MDS systems for customers, products and current pricing
• Integrates with MDS for automatic purchasing for job items contained within estimates
• Can recalculate kits based on differing labour or material rates
• Can setup estimate templates or master estimates
• Can read one (or many) estimates into another once or many times
• Can read estimates into jobs to setup job details, material and labour budgets
• Utilities for estimate item find and replace and pricing recalculations
• Able to use Micronet Report Generator to create customised estimate reports
• Links with external pricing services like Traser from Trade Services of Australia
